Member Farms

Listed below is a regional directory of our member farms. You can click on individual farm listings to be taken to that farm's bio page, where you can find information about what they grow and how they grow it as well as where and how to purchase their products.  You can also search this site by product if you have something specific in mind.

After some thought, we decided to let the farmers themselves label and describe their growing practices.  Farmers aren't legally allowed to use the term "organic" unless they are USDA certified, and coming up with a common language to describe what most consumers understand as "organic" is an evolving conundrum.  (See "Organic, Local, and Seasonal Eating" in our Resources section for further discussion and information on this topic).  The good news is that when you buy from a farmer in your community, you have the opportunity to have a conversation with the person growing your food.  So peruse our farm bios and then contact one of your local community farmers to begin a relationship that will provide you with the freshest food available and help make our communities more healthy and sustainable!
